First Workshop

I have now had a lovely lady to be my guinea pig. I have had my first workshop showing her how to kiln form glass. She knew nothing about glass fusing but was quite creative and she worked out a design and made a beautiful village scene. We had a lot of fun and she has promised to come back and have another go.

I have taken part in a Craft Fair at Henshaws Art Centre and although it was not particularly busy, I did manage to have a very decent day with lots of sales. The Duck Race which usually takes place on Boxing Day had to be cancelled because of the floods and was rescheduled for today which may have been the reason for the lack of crowds. I love doing Craft Fairs - there is a lot of camerardarie and it is a social outing as well as earning some cash.

I am home now relaxed and happy with my glass of wine.
